Bose Quietconfort 35 II
Enter the Bose QC35 II NC, the world’s first pair of headphones to integrate with Google’s voice assistant. With the increasing importance of voice assistants, we have seen a great deal of interest in updating our headphones with built-in support. If you want a top-of-the-line pair for your headphones, you’ll want the pair to offer both wireless operation and active noise cancellation – which isn’t easy, given the problems often encountered with Bluetooth audio quality. BOSE already offers both, and with the 2017 release, many other brands will follow suit.
Bose has established itself as a pioneer in the on-the-go music experience, offering some of the first voice-controlled headphones. This week we’re testing the QC35 II NC, a model that combines wireless operation with active noise cancellation and support for Google Assistant.
In other words, simply talking about these headphones is enough to fulfill two of Bose’s goals, the first of which is to make music heard. While the headphone competition is very stiff at the moment, I honestly can’t think of a pair of headphones in that price range that I’d rather own, and it’s kind of impossible to blame them. These headphones are literally in a league of their own; they are so good, in fact, that even though the headphones themselves are in a different league, you can’t really think of owning them without having a bit of respect for their quality.
In short, the Google Assistant extension is nice to look at, but by no means the reason why you should buy the Bose QC35 II or even a reason to buy it as headphones per se. This should tell you pretty much everything you need to know about the Bose QuietComfort 35 II. Where they fall short is in things like the ability to automatically interrupt the music when you take off your headphones.
It’s also a bit too close to where you can put your palm on the ear to hear what’s going on, but not too far.
Current QC35 owners don’t necessarily have to shell out $349 for this treat. You can have it on your smartphone for a fraction of the price that already does.
Overall, however, the QC35 II is the best pair of headphones we have tested in a long time, and we would recommend this set to anyone interested in maintaining inner peace on a daily basis. We decided to put them to this and other tests because we have great respect for the quality of their sound quality. If you can’t part with that kind of money for a noise-cancelling headphone, read our full review of the Bose QuietComfort 35 II for more information.
Bose is a company known for its incredible sound quality and psychoacoustics, which is why headphones and earphones come with a lot of noise – and technology. It took a while for Bose to come up with the idea of creating headphones that combined noise-cancelling technologies with a wireless Bluetooth connection, but when they did, they had an instant classic in their hands. How ANC works is that the headphones or earphones respond to a stream of outside noise and then extinguish it with an opposite audio signal.
This capability comes with built-in support for Google’s smart voice assistant, and there’s a button built into the left ear of the headphones.
The headphone reads unread notifications, tells you the time and of course expects a quick response (depending on the volume of the game). I came across some assistant requests, though I embarrassingly shouted “OK Google” before I did.
On the plane alone I logged over 100 hours with the QC 35 II, and for comparison I spent 24 hours with a Sony WH-1000XM3.
After this rigorous test, I can confidently say that I prefer the noise of the QC 35 II – the removal of headphones over the WH-1000XM3. While Sony seems to be a much better choice in terms of noise reduction and sound quality, those who want a set of headphones for air travel will certainly appreciate its acumen in this area. Headphones that can compensate for aircraft noise can make the difference between a good and a bad sound experience in the long run.
Enter the Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphone, which retains the same sound quality as the WH-1000XM3 but adds a special button to activate Google Assistant. I’m actually looking forward to my daily commute to and from the office and everywhere in between.
Steelseries Arctis Wireless Gaming Headset
I know that some of you are familiar with my previous hardware reviews, but today we will be looking at the SteelSeries Arctis 1, a wireless gaming headset that offers multi-platform compatibility. PC gaming, and one of the best PC gaming peripherals I’ve found. When I opened the ArCTis-1 package, I was immediately faced with a barrage of questions from gamers about whether I needed to use the wireless capabilities for my PC gaming or whether I preferred the Xbox One.
The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless is currently one of the best wireless gaming headsets on the market and deserves the vote of our editor. If you want strong performance for less money, this is a very good wireless headset that does not have the flexibility or build quality of a ArCTis – Pro, But at half price. The Ar CTIS-1 offers everything the Arctoris-Pro Wireless has to offer, with great sound quality, great performance and a good price tag.
Real wireless earphones are the best, but the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless is worth the money for its workmanship and excellent sound quality. A package that certainly doesn’t sound twice as detailed or feel twice as comfortable is enough for the Pro Wireless to make a convincing argument for its price.
Each headset in this series features the same comfortable, award-winning design and utilizes the industry-leading, high-performance, ultra-low latency wireless technology of the SteelSeries. It promises high-fidelity audio and has a wide range of wireless connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth 3.1. This is excellent for taking with you on your commute or long-distance journey, which is limited only by the inability to refuel at the valley station.
Unlike Arctis Pro and GameDAC, however, it has an interchangeable dual battery system, which SteelSeries first introduced with the Siberia 800 and Siberia 840.
This phenomenal gaming headset not only offers a more elegant aesthetic, but is also one of the best sounding gaming headsets I # ve used to this day. If you want a great gaming headset, but have a budget or are looking for something for the Nintendo Switch, you will struggle to find a better headset.
In any situation there is little reason not to get the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless , it’s just so good. It’s full of great features, with an automatically adjustable headband that spreads the headset’s weight effortlessly upside down, and a 2.4GHz transmitter that delivers lossless audio. When you buy a gaming headset, the ArCTis Pro Wireless deserves your attention.
You can connect both headphones simultaneously to Bluetooth 2.4GHz audio and share audio with another person by connecting an AUX audio cable.
The SteelSeries Arctis 1.0 Wireless is still one of the first headsets to use a USB Type C dongle, and it’s easy to switch between docked and undocked game. Simply hit a small dongle on the bottom of the switch and take it off the adapter and the bad boy is gone. Surprisingly, the fit is slightly larger than the previous model, but the 2.4GHz dONGLE is slightly wider for most gaming laptops.
Not much has changed since the Arctis 1.0 became wireless, but considering that it is twice as expensive as the wired model, it would be nice to see some changes, especially given that this is the first wireless version of a SteelSeries gaming headset.
Although this headset is more expensive than the React, it offers good performance, good sound quality and a 1-year warranty, making it a worthwhile alternative if you have some money left over. The best gaming headsets deliver rich sound to really get you into the game, and there’s no price to suggest. It has a built-in microphone so you can talk to your opponent without bothering him, but it’s not as good as a Bluetooth headset.
The headset also has 3.5mm connectivity, but this could be helpful in some cases. Generally speaking, wireless headsets that are compatible with both a PC and a PS4 are not compatible with the Xbox One or vice versa. It has a decent detachable microphone and can be connected with a one-year warranty via Bluetooth 4.0, Bluetooth 5.1 or Wi-Fi.
You can also listen to music or watch movies through the headset, increasing its usefulness for the consumption of multimedia. We’ve tested all the peripherals to find the best gaming headsets, and we’re still testing them all.

Many wireless gaming headsets, including those featured in this article, will usually have their own proprietary dongle that uses a short-range wireless signal that greatly minimizes latency.
some of the best in the world
This proprietary wireless connection generally provides better audio quality and a stronger signal. Bluetooth has made great strides in recent years, but if you’re interested in a truly wireless gaming headset with a high-quality audio experience, you’ll probably opt for a wired-only solution.
This proprietary wireless connection is typically designed for games on newer Xbox One models such as the Xbox 360 and PS4. For most wireless gaming headsets, choose either Xbox One or PS 4, and you’ll need to plug in your controller or system and start playing.
You need to use a wired headset with an Xbox One gamepad, and these are an expensive pair, but they offer a fantastic gaming experience. They combine incredible sound quality with a great microphone to offer some of the best in the world. Combine this with great microphones and you will have an incredible combination of audio quality, great sound and great audio performance.
Charge while playing
You can have a charge while you’re playing, and two included, which also comes with the headset, so you can charge both at the same time for a great experience.
You only have to choose a model that works with your own console, such as the Xbox One or Xbox 360. For Xbox consoles, we recommend a 3.5-millimeter cable that plugs into the Xbox controller, as it works just as well on the PS4 and PS3, and even better on the PlayStation 4.
Xbox, PS4 and PC
To cut a long story short, the Xbox One uses a different wireless protocol than the PS4 and the PC, which means you need a wireless headset specifically designed for your console. The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 is great for this because it’s built into the Xbox Wireless, which means you can pair it directly to the console without the need for annoying dongles or hubs. It is also compatible with a variety of wireless headsets such as the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and can easily be paired with other headsets such as the Samsung Gear VR and Sony PlayStation VR, meaning it can be paired directly with your consoles without the need for those annoying dongle hubs!
